What does delivery cost in South Africa?

Our delivery fee for South Africa is R80.

How do we ship orders in South Africa?

Orders are shipped with either MDS Collivery or The Courier Guy.

How long does delivery take in South Africa?

Courier delivery takes between 1-3 days depending on your location.

What does international delivery cost?

Sub Saharan Africa R365, Middle East, Europe and UK R461, Canada, Mexico and USA R505, Rest of the world R655. Please note this is for one parcel of up to 10 items.

How do we ship international orders?

Orders are shipped with DHL express.

How long does delivery take outside South Africa?

4-7 working days depending on destination and customs.

Will I receive a notification once my order is shipped?

Yes, once your order is shipped, we will send you an email notification to the email address you provided with the tracking information for your parcel.

What currencies are accepted on the online shop?

Our shop accepts South African Rand (ZAR), United States dollar and Australian dollar.

How do I pay for my order?

South-African customers can make payment by Payfast or Manual EFT. Paypal is available for payment by international customers, or South-African customers who have a Paypal account. Paypal does not accept South-African Rand. If you use Paypal you must select USD or AusD when selecting items (before adding to cart).

What is Payfast?

Payfast is one of the largest payment gateways in South Africa. Through PayFast we offer several different safe and secure payment methods from which you can select: Credit and cheque cards, MasterPass and Zapper. (Payfast contact details: support@payfast.co.za, 021 300 4455)

What is Masterpass?

MasterPass is a simple, convenient, trusted digital wallet from your bank that enables faster, safer online shopping. The digital wallet makes online shopping safer and easy by storing payment information in one secure place, so you do not have to enter your credit card details on our site. Masterpass works with all major credit, cheque and debit cards and secures the users data using industry leading technology.

How does Masterpass work?

1. Download the Masterpass app on your smartphone and activate your phone.
2. Setup your Masterpass account and add your bank card.
3. On the checkout page, choose Payfast as your payment method.
4.Next, select Masterpass.
5. Scan the QR code which will be visible on the payment page with the Masterpass app or complete the payment within the Masterpass App, if checking out on mobile.
6.Authorise the payment with your bank PIN.

What is Zapper?

Zapper is an easy payment method whereby you can scan a QR code on our website with your smartphone at checkout in order to make an online purchase.

How does Zapper work?

1. Download the Zapper app on your smartphone, complete your profile, load your credit, debit or cheque cards.
2. On the checkout page, choose Payfast as your payment method.
3. Next, select Zapper.
4. Scan the QR code which will be visible on the payment page with the Zapper app.
5. Select the card you wish to pay with and press the pay button.

What is Paypal?

Paypal is an online financial service that allows you to pay for items using a secure internet account.

How does Paypal work?

1. On the checkout page, select PayPal as your payment method.
2. You will be redirected to the PayPal website. Log in to PayPal and follow the instructions to complete your purchase.

How does Manual EFT work?

1. Once you have finished shopping, please select your cart and click on the “Proceed to checkout” button.
2. Select Manaul EFT as the payment method and click on “Place order”.
3. You will be redirected to a page with our banking details.
4. After making payment, please email us the proof of payment to info@mugamuga.co.za with your order number as reference.

frequently asked questions

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

Orders are typically processed within 7-14 business days. Courier delivery varies between 1-3 days depending on your location in South Africa. If you require your order urgently, for example as a birthday gift, please send us an email at info@mugamuga.co.za to inquire whether we can assist you.

I didn’t receive a notification of my order, what is wrong?

Please check your spam folder for an email notification. If you have made payment using the EFT option, the money needs to reflect in our bank account before we change the status of your order to processing. Once your order status is changed, you will receive an email notification.

How does a Gift Voucher work?

Once you have purchased a Gift Voucher, and your payment reflects in our bank account, we will email you the gift voucher. On the gift voucher is a code which the buyer must enter at checkout.

I had difficulty with my payment with Payfast.

If it timed out and your payment didn’t go through your order will have a cancelled status on our website. If you are unsure if your payment went through you can call us on 0722997148. We can check if the payment shows completed on our system. You can also check your bank account to see if the payment was deducted. For any other Payfast queries you can email support@payfast.co.za or phone 021 300 4455.

I want to pay with Paypal but there is no option to select Paypal when I want to check out.

Make sure that you changed from ZAR currency to USD or AUD before adding products to your cart. Paypal does not accept South-African Rand. If your cart totals display in South-African Rand please return to each item and change the currency to dollar.
